Details

Pottery is the most forgiving art using a lump of clay, placing it on the potters' wheel and giving shape to your very own creativity. As the wheel spins and the clay begins to form, both your mind and body are synergized with surroundings and the universe

Material: Clay ( air dry) and tools will be provided.

participants will make 2 projects

 

Course details:

Participants will be introduced to both hand building and wheel techniques in pottery. There will be a short demo on all the pottery techniques after which the students will start working on the project.

 

Each participant will take home 2 projects.

One which is made using the hand building technique and second wheel technique.

Participants will be encouraged to design their own creation.

 

Number of participants: max 15

Course fees: Rupees 1000/-

Age: 12 years and above

Timings: 3 pm to 5 pm

Duration: 2 hours

 

PS: Please come along with two boxes to carry your creation.

Maya was born in India and is an enthusiastic potter whose work is inspired by elements of nature and who loves to create Magical illusions with clay. Even as a child she knew there was always something special about the oneness of working with your hands.
