Reviews for Organizer 2.4
Such piss poor organization, that I have given up running any more half-marathons in Bangalore. Putting my review into bullet points below:The Worst:* No Medical assistance/first aid on the track or anywhere along the way.*Timing posts/mats and barricades were removed after the first 3 persons finished in 21km category. That's an insult to the effort of the trailing runners.*21km run was actually a 20km run. Organizers considered the runners a bunch of fools.*All Finishers were not given medals.*All category runs were started in small gaps, so that the track was crowded and it was impossible to run without bumping into people. The Bad:*Breakfast not provided to participants.*Run timing information was not given to me at venue or e-mail/SMS so far. I paid Rs150 for the timing bib to decorate my chest.*Very busy venue. Runners were made to stop for vehicles to pass. Not to mention the dust.*Unresponsive security personnel along the track, couldn't stop the vehicles encroaching into run track.*No information so far about the amount handed over to the cause-Alzheimer's treatment. Forum must have paid the money to the DJ and his band. The Good:*DJ: These guys are only good at that-organizing music and party. This event is only for dancers and walkers and someone needing a running t-shirt and timing bib to decorate their showcase. Serious runners, or even casual joggers for that matter don't even go near the event! - by Aju Krishnan for Forum Purple Run 2018 - Forum Mall, Koramangala organized by Forum Mall Koramangala .
