Welcome to Hastinapur ! A kingdom that was the epicentre of one of the greatest Epics, the Mahabharata. Come over for an hour of stories of strife between cousins, of curses and boons, of magical weapons and miraculous twists of fate. Enjoy and explore the story of stories.

About the Storyteller:

Aparna Jaishankar is a Performance Storyteller and Theatre Coach. Her belief in the power of stories led her to found 'kAhini - What's your story?'. Her one stop shop for stories of all genres for all ages is the Mahabharata.

The way the story was narated was really good. My kids had a great time. However would request not to charge fee for at least one parent accompanying the kids. It is understood that kids cannot come alone to such events, parents have to accompany them. So charging for the parents don't make any sense. One of the few events I would love to attend again. Kavish creates a environment which makes you comfortable and then allows you the space to address the suspended thoughts in your brain. The story telling and dance was very beautifully done. The hall at Atta galata as a venue should equip themselves with good lighting. The expressions on performers' faces weren't seen at all with all the dim lighting. I had visited the poetry festival to attend Sadguru's discussion. I had registered on your website and was hoping that everything will be good. Once i arrived at the Ball Room, they didn't allow us inside and said it was full and the person was rude also. I had also brought my daughter for the first time and request to allow her inside but he didn't. Later he allowed few people inside known to him. I expected a better organization and give seats to people who have registered. There were 100's of people like me waiting outside. If you guys do not know how to organize, please learn from ISHA volunteers and also you need to learn to book a bigger hall for tall personalities like Sadguru's talk. Attended the Permumal Murugan/TM krishna concert. It was very well organized and worth the visit. A couple of suggestions:1. Concerts like these need time for setup. The organizers need to plan accordingly.2. While the instruments were being set, the audience was talking as well as the person on the mike, just to ensure that audience did not lose patience. However, the artists who tune the instruments need concentration and silence. 3.
