The notion of playfulness in the entirety of its character is a physical, perceptive and social experience, which is self-chosen and self-directed. It is an act where means are more valued than the ends while the act of play itself remains non-literal, imaginative and sometimes away from the bounds of reality.
Then why is it that something so fundamental as playfulness, has not been cultivated as an everyday practice, irrespective of age, gender, or other socio-cultural barriers?
Why is it that the intent and form of playfulness, is only defined by a board or a screen and doesn't extend to a plaza or a street?
Physical playfulness is easy to get into, but it also means, letting go of one's inhibitions. Structuring Playfulness will thereby, attempt to generate this quintessential dialogue with oneself and across peers, to escape and experience a space of exhilaration.
Participants will engage in embodied activities and perform instantaneously, in order to generate an experience of play-spaces for all.
