It starts with a Seed - A workshop on Jewelry design with natural materials
What can you do with a few humble seeds, some wire, and bits of paper, you may ask? A lot! Make Jewellery that you could adorn anyone with. With seeds and natural materials, your hands and your imagination, you can put together a beautiful accessory..seed by seed. Natural material such as seeds, feathers, and shells will be provided to you. You can feel free to bring any old/broken jewelry, glossy paper (such as the inner pages of magazines). With the guidance of the facilitator, learn to transform these simple materials into a piece of art, be it earrings, a bracelet or a neckpiece.
The facilitator of this workshop, Ramawatar Singh, has been designing jewelry since 2005 and main components of his creations are seeds that he has collected zealously during his travels across India, the jungle walks, bird watching expeditions, while farming and herbal gardening.
