They say that food is the one ingredient that binds us all together and we could not agree more. Over the past few years, owing to the popularity of Masterchef, we have seen food become more than just sustenance and take the center stage in our lives.
More and more of us are seeing cooking as a form of expression, kids included. Kids as young as 5 or 6 want to bake, do non-fire cooking and more. Kids aged 13-15 are now opening bakeries and catering businesses on the side.
There is also an increased interest in eating healthy home-cooked food over the last years, resulting in more and more people realizing how they didn't know any cooking till they either got married or moved into their own homes. As a result, we are now treating cooking as a life skill and want to empower kids with this skill irrespective of their gender.
And this workshop aims to do that in a fun manner. It will teach your kids the basics in the kitchen in super fun-filled 5 days, with tons of interesting recipes for them to experiment with. So this summer, let your children learn a life skill while also making friends with food for life!
Send your kids in the age of 9 to 14 yrs for a 5-day cooking workshop with Monika Manchanda at The Courtyard, Shantinagar from 10 am to 1 pm!
