What is Design Thinking & Why children need it?

To find solutions to the increasingly complex problems of tomorrow, it is imperative that we expose the landscapers of the future children to powerful problem-solving toolkits. One such toolkit is Design Thinking, a methodology that has already helped hundreds of businesses innovate. In Design Thinking, children will be pushed to learn through understanding and thinking over memorization; an essential skill for tackling the ever-changing world.


- Working on a Design thinking project to develop values of empathy

- Defining a problem, ideating on solutions, Prototyping, and Testing

- Hands-on learning with interactive activities

- Building disruptive solutions for the real world

- Focus on values of empathy and compassion


- Creative problem solving

- Being a leader

- Compassionate attitude

Camp time: Monday to Friday from 20 Apr-24 April 10 am-12 pm

Age group: 6-13 years 


All materials required during the workshop will be provided. Participants to only bring their enthusiasm and energy along :)

About facilitators

About facilitators

This camp is driven by the founding team of fire. fly - an organization that delivers learning and development programs on Design Thinking, Entrepreneurship, Artificial intelligence (AI), Building compassionate educators, Creative writing and LinkedIn profile/resume writing. Their programs have seen active participation from people across corporates, schools, and colleges.

Sezel Lalwani - Journalist turned Marketer turned Product Manager with design and advertising expertise from working at companies like Deloitte, LinkedIn and HCL Technologies. Sezel is a Gold medallist in Radio and Television Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. An avid reader who loves adventure sports, she is thrilled to have started her own venture to reimagine education in India!

Tharun Jagateri - A lifelong learner and passionate about Design Thinking, Creativity and Technology. Worked in internet and media companies like Google, LinkedIn, Yahoo! and Flipkart. Tharun is all about analytics, statistics and anything to do with numbers but he does make time for some serious long-distance running, swimming and traveling.
