Details

Nishani Motte is a peak of 1480m High located in the kodagu district. This trek is in the Western Ghats - Bhagamandala region of Coorg.

 

Nishanimotte is a lesser known mountain peak of Talacauvery (place that is generally considered to be the source of the river Kaveri )/Brahmagiri range residing in Coorg, otherwise called the Scotland of India. It is one of the weekend trek from Bangalore where you can experience mighty wildlife and the tranquility of coorg which is known as Scotland of India. The most beautiful part of Nishani Motte trek is ridge walk on the side of dense forest and in the shola forest patches which continues 5 km. Starting out from coffee estate and it connects to thick forest and starts out rich shola forest and meadows the trail follow an impressive ridge walk. The peak offers a spectacular view of the layers of the Brahmagiri range.

7. Torch with good batteries

8. General Medication if any
