Urban trees improve air quality, stabilize the soil and provide cool shade. Each species comes with a specialized role, from messaging in the root systems to hosting complex food webs in the branches.

The workshop will be covering:

- History of Bangalore's green wealth: our horticulture

- Identify common trees of the city by their physical appearance

- Using sensory skills - touch, smell, feel, observe making

- Connecting the dots between animals/ insects and tree species, symbiotic relationships between many species

- The Ecological and Climate stabilizing effect that trees have in an urban environment

- Horticulture and Gardening at home.

The workshop will end with a fun pop quiz for everyone and an ayurvedic plant for you to take home.
