Story of Recycling

'Of the staggering 22 million tons of recyclable waste, the U.K. collects in any given year, aas 2% of it enjoys reprocessing'

Join us on 24th July to learn whether the booming recycling industry paved with good intentions really works.

Most of us want to play our part in preserving our resources and protecting our damaged environment. As long as we know our waste is being recycled, we are okay with it and it is a noble notion that leaves us with a warm feeling of having contributed to 'saving the environment'.

But how effective is recycling really?

Can we reduce pollution just by recycling waste?

Looking Glass invites you for a free movie screening. Let us understand the problem and find solutions together!

  • 6:00 PM - 6:15 PM Tea and snacks

  • 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM Film screening

  • 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM Post film discussion

The Earth Overshoot Day is on 29th July which encouraged us to pick this particular documentary.
