Bharatanatyam is a classical dance of South India, Training is structured guided by old Indian scriptures namely "Natyashastra," "Abhinaya Darpanam" and "Margam" developed by Tanjaore brothers in the 19th century.
Training starts from the fundamentals of Bharatanatyam which is 'Adavus' and 'Hastabhinaya'( hand gestures)
Which will be combined and developed towards Abhinaya(facial expressions)-the core of dance form.
Lessons are structured in the Margam tradition, highly focusing on the technical and esthetics of Bharatanatyam.
