Ramanagara district is home to some of the world's oldest granite outcrops, that were immortalized in celluloid through memorable films such as 'Sholay' and 'A Passage to India'. The landscape here is rugged and relatively untouched, with many hillocks and lots of forest and farm land. Our biking routes weave through both the Ramanagara and Magadi taluks and offer several beautiful sights including the Tippagondanahalli and Manchinabele reservoirs. Visitors may also be treated to sightings of several endangered and vulnerable species of birds such as long-billed and Egyptian vultures and yellow-throated bulbuls.
