Macramé is a kind of making traditional textile applying the method of knotting.
It began with Arab weavers in the 13th century but the art of knotting probably dates far back in china farther back during the northern dynasties period.
Macramé design is made by using some common materials like Hemp, Leather and cotton twine. The techniques are often implied to make some common accessories like friendship belts, wall hanging, window covers, pot holders.
Generally, there are two basic types of knots used. It is all about decorative adjustment using the knots.
