Situated on the banks of River Tungabhadra, Hampi is a remarkable tourist destination where travellers all around the globe come to sink and absorb the laid-back culture and listen to all the mysteries stories from history. Solitude lovers and photography enthusiasts would love to stroll around more than 20 ancient heritages and hilltops where sunset never looks the same.

Beautifully preserved and maintained by Archeological Excavation of India, a Tour to Hampi amidst the muddy roads and paddy rice fields will soothe your senses and take you back in time.

Day 0 22nd Nov

  • 17:00 hrs Catch a Bus or Train to Hospet from Mumbai. Overnight Journey

Day 1 – 23rd Nov

  • 08:00 hrs – Reach Hospet By Bus or train and meet the Wandering Souls team.
  • 08:30 hrs – Move towards Hampi on a local bus. Have breakfast at Hampi bus station. After that, we will move towards the hippie side of Hampi by crossing Tungabhadra River by a ferry boat. Check in at a guest house in rice paddy fields and get fresh.
  • 09:30 hrs – Have a small icebreaker introduction session and get briefed about days plan. Hire Scooters/Moped and head out to Ranakpur Lake and go for a coracle ride. Roam around hippie town.
  • 14:00 hrs – Have lunch
  • 15.00 hrs – Explore the other side of the river, soak in the beautiful views
  • 17:00 hrs – Head out for enjoy in the sunset from the Monkey hill/ temple after a small hike.
  • 19.30 hrs – Move towards the guest house. Have a nice dinner. Fun & Games

Day 2 -24th Nov

  • 06:30 hrs – Morning call for experiencing the sunrise near the Tungabhadra river
  • 08.30 hrs – Have breakfast and get fresh
  • 09.30 hrs – We will move towards the Hampi side by crossing Tungabhadra River by a ferry boat. Check in at a guest house.
  • 10:00 hrs – Move out for the temple tour. Get on the bicycle or on the rick to explore the famous temples of Hampi - Vithala temple, the Famous Chariot, Kings Balance and around
  • 14:00 hrs – Have lunch
  • 15:30 hrs – Continue exploring Hampi ruins on cycles or rickshaw. Lotus Mahal, elephant stable, Queen's bath, Pushkarni etc.
  • 17.30 hrs – Get to the sunset point at Hemkuta Hill and enjoy the beautiful and relaxing views
  • 19.30 hrs – Move back towards our guest house. Get to know each other better over dinner. Enjoy the evening, play games.

Day 3 – 25th Nov

  • 05:30 hrs – Morning call for experiencing the sunrise at Matanga hill.
  • 08.30 hrs – Have breakfast, Get ready
  • 10:00 hrs – Visit Virupaksha Temple, Krishna temple, old bazaar and explore the local market.
  • 14:00 hrs – Get back to the guest house. Have lunch and pack up your bags for the return journey
  • 15:30 hrs – Get the bus from Hampi to Hospet and reach Hospet to catch the respective buses or trains.
  • 17.30 hrs – Say your goodbyes with a promise to meet again. This brings us to the end of our trip, Or rather just the beginning.
