Such a wonderful coming together.
Here are two new (long overdue) videos featuring T.M. Krishna in collaboration with The Jogappas, a trans-gender musical community. This event was part of the FEA-curated 3-day Karnatic Modern tour by TM Krishna in Mumbai.

This concert was in association with the Solidarity Foundation.

As Krishna himself clarifies, this performance was not a "jugalbandi" nor was it "fusion". Krishna was accompanied by Akkarai Subhalakshmi on violin, Praveen Sparsh on mridangam and Chandrasekara Sharma on ghatam. Tanpuras were played by Rithvik Raja and Bhavik Mankad. The Jogappas comprise Laxman (vocals and Choudki), Madhuri (taal and chorus vocals), Rakhi (taal and chorus vocals), Siddamma (vocals and sutti) and Bibijaan (Choudki and chorus vocals).

Watch, listen and be amazed.
