Resin is a two-part compound that hardens to give a clear and glossy finish. In the workshop, participants will learn the following - how to prepare the base for resin work - mixing resin, hardener and colors and details of the curing times - how to make a resin pour on the base and create a resin geode artwork - final finishing and removal of bubbles
Geode is a geological formation consisting of volcanic rocks, minerals, sediments, crystals, etc. Using a resin medium, we would be bringing out patterns with resin, stones, crystals, etc. to create a geode look-alike.
Each participant would work on one resin geode artwork of size 12 * 16 inches or irregularly shaped one(refer picture)
All materials will be provided.
The resin would need 24 hours to dry. You can carry back the finished resin art piece on the next day (or later).
