A favourite pass time for Orissa and Maharashtra Brahmins.

Ganjifa is the name given to an ancient Indian card game. Quite aptly the name Ganjifa comes from the Persian word Ganjifeh which means playing cards. The specialty of these cards is that they are traditionally hand-painted. The cards are typically circular.

The main aim of the game was to teach, learn and tell stories from our ancient scriptures and holy books.

No prior experience required, it will be a guided session. You get to take home with you beautifully painted cards at the end of the workshop.
