Odd as it may sound, two amateur young poets Samantak and Sourav have been discussing and jamming over Dylan for years now, and structuring a workshop with his lyrics at the center. Now that they have gained some confidence, they wrongly believe they can pull it off.
During the workshop, some basics concepts of poetry will be discussed :
How poetry is closer to sound.
How repetition and ambiguity works.
How myths, symbols, and metaphors are integral to language.
Learning imagery, usage of senses and how to transcend them.
We will also sing a jingle or two if Samantak manages to tune his guitar.
Workshop fee: Rs 1000.
