Trek Details

Duration - 4 Nights / 5 Days

Location - Delhi - Manali - Jobra - Chika - Balu Ka Ghera - Siaguru - Hampta pass - Chatru - Chandratal - Manali (Via Rohtang Pass) - Delhi

Itinerary

DAY 0 - Delhi Departure  

DAY 1 :DRIVE FROM MANALI TO JOBRA THEN START TREK TO CHIKA

   Our Local Team will meet at Manali Bus stand and then we will drive from Manali (6000 Ft) to Jobra and after briefing session we start our Trek to Chika (10100 Ft) our todays camp. Todays Trek is a 2 hour easy ascent from 9700 Ft to 10,400 Ft through thick forest and crossing small bridge. While Trekking we can see the Rainy river on one side and a big rocky hill on the other. The Trek passes through some of the most spectacular landscape. Overnight camp at Chika.

DAY 2 :HIKE TO BALU KA GHERA (5 HRS EASY ASCENT)

The third day Trek is a gradual ascent. While Trekking, we will be able to see the spectacular Dhauladhar range in the background and Indrasan peak in front. The best part of todays Trek that we have to cross two rivers one at the start just near to Chikka Campsite and other at JwaraNcusa. We will have our packed lunch after crossing the jwarancusa.

DAY 3:BALU KA GERA TO SIAGURU, CROSSING HAMPTAPASS

This is the most spectacular part of the Trek as we cross the HamptaPass and then descend to our camp site in Siaguru. From HamptaPass you can see the Indrasan Peak and its gigantic glacier.Todays Trek will take us approximately 8hrs to reach Siaguru. The ascent on this part of the HamptaPass Trek will be moderate.

DAY 4:SIAGURU TO CHATRU. DRIVE TO CHANDRATAL

This day we have an easy descent through the Hampta Valley. The massive mountains of the Pir Panjal and Spiti ranges dominate the entire landscape till the camp site at Chatru. Chatru is a confluence point of paths from Rohtang Pass, Hamta Pass and Spiti. From Chatru if road and weather condition permit we head to the Chandra Tal and camp at suitable place according to the conditions.

DAY 5. DRIVE FROM CHANDRA TAL / CHATRU TO MANALI VIA THE ROHTANG PASS

In the morning after breakfast we leave for Manali via the Rohtang Pass. Our wonderful Experience of Trekking in Himachal ends.

  • Thermal inner wear (upper & lower)

  • Scarf/Muffler (optional)
  • Comfortable Trekking/Hiking shoes (shoes with a thick sole are recommended)
  • Lightweight Towel(1 unit)
  • Toilet Paper(plenty)
  • Wet-Tissue Papers(plenty)
  • Lightweight floaters/sandals/slippers Raincoat / Poncho, Small lightweight Towel
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen Lotion
  • Cap to keep the intense sun away from your face, Sunglasses
  • Walking stick / Trekking pole, Torch / Flashlight (with extra batteries)
  • Medicines (if requiring any particular medication)
  • Personal toiletries
  • Day pack/small bag which you will Carry on your back every day and keep your essentials in it
  • Camera with charged batteries

Booking will be closed 3 days before journey schedule departure
Children below 15 years are not allowed for trekking
Any kind of intoxication is prohibited throughout the journey
100% Payment shall be made to reserve your seats,
No Refund shall be entitled after cancellation
Personal Expenses such as Laundry,Luggage Charges, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), porterage are not included in base price and shall be charged extra.
Travel Insurance, Entrance Fees & Guide charges are not included in base price and shall be charged extra.
Snow Vehicle Fare, If Road Is Block Due To Snow are not included in base price and shall be charged extra.
Any cost arising due to natural calamities like, landslides, snow covered roads, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
TripVenza shall not be responsible for any loss of articles, luggage or any other goods, during the trip
All our trips will be depart as per fix schedule and TripVenza shall not be responsible for any loss of transportation due to traffic jam, natural calamity or any other reasons. Although,no refund shall be entitled
