This is a beginner's workshop, targeted towards students who are new to photography and are trying to learn about their camera.
The workshop would start around 9am and probably continue till 12- 12.30pm.
The main focus of the workshop would be to teach the students some theory of photography and then how to take control of their camera.
The topics covered would be -
Understanding the manual controls of the camera.
Understanding composition and light.
Students would be able to get instant feedback on their questions during theory and be mentored during the practice session.
There are no pre-requisites for attending this workshop. Inexperienced photographers are welcome.
Students are required to bring-
A digital camera preferably a dslr or any advanced camera which has manual controls.
A notebook to take down notes.
This workshop is limited to a maximum of 5 participants.
About the Mentor -
Shubhang Pandey, is a 24 year old awarding winning documentary photographer and photojournalist based in Bangalore, India.
Shubhang's images are usually a literal translation of what his eyes see. Shubhang is a self taught photographer, interested in post modern art and surrealism. Shubhang is inspired by paintings of Vermeer, photographs by Josef Koudelka and Martin Parr.
Shubhang's work has also been exhibited in India and abroad.
