As a tradition, Lord Ganesha's statues were always handmade from the refined river bed clay. And later worshiped and immersed in water. Did you all know that Lord Ganesha's statue is immersed in water to represent his birth cycle? So that after the pooja, he goes back to heaven and returns to the devotee's house. Now its time to make our own Ganesha and worship him for all the beautiful things in life.
In this workshop, we will be making the statue of Lord Ganesh using refined clay. We will also include some seeds in the idol so after the worship, you can immerse the Ganesha in your home pots. As a symbol of new things, let's contribute our way of celebrating this festival in an eco-friendly way.
