SPT Sports Management is proud to announce the final dates for its Corporate Futsal Tournament - 31st August and 1st September.

General Guidelines -

  • The tournament would be contested in a League cum Knockout format consisting of 4 groups with 4 teams each 
  • Each match would be of 30 minutes duration, i.e. 15 minutes each half and would be contested in a 5v5 format.
  • Each team will have the opportunity to play a minimum of 3 matches even if they fail to progress for the semi-finals.
  • The tournament would include Cup and Plate categories, with the top 2 teams from each group qualifying for the Cup and Plate semi-finals respectively.
  • A corporate is allowed to field more than 1 team if they want.
  • The event would be contested at our SPT Sports Academy in Mullur, Sarjapur Road.
  • Cup and Plate Winners to be awarded shiny Trophies and individual Gold medals.
  • Cup and Plate Runners-up will also be awarded trophies and Silver medals.
  • The fee here includes the Registration charges. Corporates also have option of purchasing Food and Beverage addon for the entire team.
  • Registrations limited to only 16 corporates and is on a first come first serve basis.
  • Registrations close on 24th August. 

Tournament Rules -

  1. The Field:Field Dimension: 70 ft x 130 ft

    Goal Post: 10 ft x 6 ft

    Penalty or ‘D’ Area: 12 ft radius quarter circles outside each goal post and joined by a straight line parallel to the goal line

    Penalty Mark: 20 ft from mid-point between the goal post. 

  2. Players:Team to have a max roster of 8 players for the entire tournament.

    The playing team would consist of 8 in total,5 on the ground and 3 subs

    Number of substitutions during the game can be unlimited

    • The goalkeeper can change within the team members of a particular match

    Only executives of participating companies are eligible to take part

    Any player who is playing or has played in any division team or represented any league/division match in the last 2yrs is not eligible to participate. In the case of detection, the team can be disqualified.

    No team will be allowed with fewer than 3 players (incl. goalkeeper) in a match. In case if it does happen, the game will be awarded to the opponent irrespective of the number of goals scored.

  3.  Player Equipment:Players must dress in proper football attire – Jersey & shorts with the same color

    Shin guards and stockings are compulsory.

    Footwear – Boots with moulded rubber studs or sports shoes only. 

    The use of footwear is compulsory.

    GoalKeeper is allowed to wear track pants and must be indistinguishable color from other team members.

  4.  Duration of Match: All matches would be of 30mins duration. 15mins each half and a half time interval of 5mins

    In the case of a tie, extra time will happen onlyin Semi-Finals & Finals.

    The team must report 30 minutes prior to the scheduled match time to sign the register and for briefing.

    In case a team does not report 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, a penalty kick will be awarded against the defaulting team. In case of further delay (of 15 mins), a walkover will be awarded to the opponent.

  5. The ball in and out of play:The ball is always in play as long as it is in the playing field.

    The ball is out of play if it goes over the sideline. A kick-in is taken from the nearest point from where the ball crosses the sideline.

    Players are allowed to enter any ‘D’ during play.

    No goal kick, instead the goalkeeper will roll the ball by hand from inside the ‘D’ area.

    During a free kick, opponents to stand a minimum of 3 mt/10 ft away from the ball.

  6. Goalkeeper: Goalkeeper cannot touch the ball by hand outside the ‘D’, if he does, a free kick is awarded.

    Goalkeeper not to hold the ball for more than 6 seconds. In doing so, a free kick will be awarded to the opponent.

    Back pass to the goalkeeper is allowed only twice continuously.

    Keeper infringements, a free kick will be 10ft from the edge of ‘D’

    The goalkeeper cannot bring the ball back into the ‘D’ and then hold the ball in his hands. If this happens, a free kick will be awarded.

  7. Scoring: Players can enter the ‘D’ and score a goal.

    A goal is scored when the whole ball passes over the goal line between the posts.

    A goal is awarded only if the ball has the last contact off any player in the opponent’s half.

  8. Points Tabulation and walkover: Win–3pts; Draw–1pts; Loss–0pts.

    Walk Over – 3pts to team reporting for play with 3 goals in their favor.

  9. Grouping and Qualification:Each group consists of max 4 teams.

    Winner of each group (highest point) qualifies for –“The Cup”

    Runner-Up of each group (2nd highest point) qualifies for –“The Plate”

    If in the case in a group, 2 or more teams are on equal points, then qualification will be done as 1st criteria -

    “goal difference”shall be considered, in case of a tie, then “goals for”and then “goals against”will be taken intoaccount. If this also results in a tie, a toss of coin will determine the seeding of the group.

  10. Tie Breaker: Each side will be allowed 3 penalty kicks. In the case of a tie after 3 kicks each, sudden death rule will be applied.

    For qualifying rounds, in case of a draw, no extra time will be given after normal playtime.

    of 5-5 mins will be played. If still tied, tiebreaker rule will be applied.

    If a player is found playing rough and using foul language on the ground or misbehaving with the referee, a yellow card will be shown, which will lead to suspension of the player for a minimum of 1min.

  11. Infringement: If any team walks out of the ground on protest during the match, they will be disqualified. If the further offense is committed by the same player, he will be shown a red card and debarred from the current match and/or from future games as per the referee’s decision.In this case, the team has to play with 4 players.

    Only the players & officials can enter the field during the match.

    If any player who is identified as not employed with the respective company, the team will be disqualified from the tournament.

  12.  General: In case the schedule is not completed on any day due to unavoidable reasons, matches will be played the next day or as decided by the event managers.

    It is mandatory for all participants to carry their company ID cards as proof of employment in their respective companies. On failing to do so the team is liable to be disqualified.

    Teams may have to play 3 or more matches in a day.

    Penalty or Free kick to be taken with no more than 2 steps run-up. 

    All infringements/kicks are direct kicks, inside the opponents half.

    Any request for postponement or change of match timing will not be entertained.

    No player will be allowed to enter the ground wearing any jewelry like ring, chain, watch.

    T-shirts are to be tucked in during play.

    The organizers have the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason whatsoever.

    The organizers have the right to disqualify any team or participant without assigning any reason for the duration of the tournament.

    In the case of a protest, the team has to lodge a formal written protest signed by the Team. Before the start of the match and must continue with the game, the organizer will take necessary steps according.

    In matters of doubt not covered in therules, the decision of the Organizers (SPT Sports) shall be final and binding on all concerned.

    The Organizer will not be held responsible/liable in case of any injuries to the participants during the tournament. However, a basic first aid kit will be available at the venue during matches.

    Upon agreeing to participate in the event, the participants and the participating organization agrees that he/she is doing so by his/her free will and waives SPT Sports, its employees, and all associates, from any liability or claims arising from any loss, injury, an untoward incident during the course of the event.

    It is compulsory to submit a registration form with all the required details before their 1st match and the match form before each of their matches.

    Players are not allowed to play barefoot under any circumstances.

    Reporting Time: The full composition of a team has to be present 30mins before the start of their game. Failing to do so will result in an automatic loss of toss. In case a team does not report 10mins after the scheduledtime, a penalty kick will be awarded against the defaulting team. In case of further delay (of15mins), awalkoverwill be awarded to the Opponent.

    Organizers are NOT liable for the loss of any personal belongings.
