Balaji Rao, 52 years, has three post-graduate degrees and a research scholar, comes with a rich experience of 31 years out of which he has worked 18 years in the financial services industry and 8 years in academics. He has passionately involved in imparting informed investing knowledge through his lectures and writings.
He has authored seven books related to financial markets and wealth management since 2010 and is also a columnist for The Hindu newspaper and The Finapolis monthly magazine (has written over 300 articles). As a visiting professor he regularly teaches Financial Markets & Wealth Management subjects at reputed B-Schools such as Christ University, Jain University, ISME, SIMS; he is retained as a resource person by reputed asset management companies (HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Pru Mutual Fund, Aditya Birla SL Mutual Fund) and insurance companies (ICICI Pru Life Insurance) for whom he conducts various training programs related to financial markets, investor engagement sessions and advisory skills (conducted over 150 sessions since Oct 2015).
