“Decoupage” actually comes from the French word “decouper” which means to cut out or cut from something else. It's a truly versatile art form which can be performed on any medium.
In this workshop, one would handcraft a glass decoupage jar with crackle effect. This decor piece has an inbuilt bulb holder so that it can even be used as a night lamp too. It would brighten up any corner of a house. The gaps between the cracks would give a beautiful effect in the dark. It's an ideal gift for your home and for your loved ones.
One would be learning:
– Use of gesso, and acrylic paints
– How to layer a decoupage napkin on a medium
– Usage of crackle medium and decoupage glue
-- Sealing method
