Muddie Trails presents an adventurous, fun-filled & thrilling weekend with hiking, good food, water activities like Swimming and a lot of socializing!

About the destination:

Kunti Betta or Onake Betta is a pretty simple trek up the hill but offers extraordinary views for the short climb.
Mythology states that the Pandavas during their period of exile stayed here for some time, and Kunti, mother of the Pandavas, liked the hillock so much that it became one of her favorite haunts. The town is also named after the Pandavas because of their brief stay in this region.

Reviews for Organizer 4.0
The guide Rakesh Ranjan, was inexperienced ,lacked leadership quality, and most of all was physically unfit for the role of a trek guide. To begin with, the schedules bus pickup was at 6pm, I understand it was raining, but he reached 1 hour late, didn't share bus location inspite of repeated request by multiple people, as a result we were not able to locate the bus, and the bus started 1hr 15 min late. All pickups were only done by 10:30 and all people were extremely hungry but Rakesh stopped the bus at the worst of the restaurants, where the food was unhygienic and washrooms were worse than public toilets. Basically I ended up starving that night. There was an elderly man in the trip who got the last seat, he had back issues and he repeatedly requested Rakesh to arrange front seat for him. But Rakesh didn't make any proper efforts for him and eventually the elderly couple had to cancel the trip and drop off mid way. Basically he lacked leadership quality totally. For breakfast on 5th the place was decent. No complaints there.Lunch on 5th was self sponsored so no complaints again. For dinner we selected a nice place but Rakesh had major budget constraints, we were ready to pay extra on top of his budget allocated but again that place was cancelled.Major disappointment there!! And we ended up wasting 1+ hour in deciding the place. Amazing display of decision making but Rakesh yet again. After dinner we reached homestay at 12pm, the homestay was fine , but again basic water also wasn't provided even after multiple request. How can someone be so inconsiderate? At this point Rakesh has started ignoring our complaints and wasn't giving any response. When we confronted him , he behaved rudely and called me as a negative personality, Seriously!! How unprofessional!!When trek started at 8!m, we continuously walked for 2hours before we got the breakfast. Poha served for breakfast was fine but tea was pathetic.Throughout the trek Rakesh was lack luster and was the last one struggling to walk. His health wasn't good I guess. There weren't any instructions from him and in light of this, people were going in all random directions. We had no idea when to come back and where to assemble.Clear lack of leadership there. It looked like we were guiding Rakesh rather than him doing it for us.Overall the trip could have been much better of we had a responsible , energetic and leader kind of guide. Would not prefer coming by ever again. - by Subhash Sahni for Dudhsagar Trek with Colva Beach of Goa organized by Muddie Trails .
