Hand-building pottery is the most primitive form of pottery making but is considered more complex, creative and super-fun.
In this four-session course, you will be learning the three basic techniques of hand-building - pinch, coil, and slab construction. They can be used individually or combined together to create unusual shapes and patterns that are only possible with this form.
By the end of the course, you would create two pieces of clay and you will be surprisingly happy to see your finished work.
Pottery is a wonderfully addictive creative outlet, so embrace it and give yourself the opportunity to get stuck into a worthwhile project and dive deeper into the pottery making world. The workshop is paced to give each individual personal attention. This course is designed for beginners looking for an introduction to working with clay. No previous experience of working with clay is required!
