Current Conservation is a magazine that communicates conservation-related issues and science in an accessible manner to a wide audience. Our magazine carries the latest in research concepts and news from both the natural and social science facets of conservation, encompassing ecology, wildlife biology, conservation biology, environmental history, anthropology and sociology, ecological economics, and related fields of research.
We are happy to announce that it has completed 12 years of publication and to commemorate this, Dakshin Foundation and Current Conservation are organizing an event called "Current Conservation Conversations" to celebrate the successful fusion of art and science in the magazine, and to explore ways of taking it further. The event will be held on March 3, 2019, at Lahe Lahe in Indiranagar and includes a panel, movie screening, and art exhibition.
We would like to invite you to be part of this event and meet like-minded artists, students, scientists, researchers and others for creative, compelling dialogue on conservation science issue.
