Empathy is at the heart of the Design. It is a capacity of the individual to understand other's perspectives and see the world through their lens. It helps the designer to unpack the complexities of the customer's context and their problems.
Objective for this event is to look at products in the context of the customer by engaging Human Factors of problem-solving, Demystify priorities of the customer and Understanding their unspoken, unaddressed needs.
Attendees of this event will go through hands-on activities on the Empathy Design Thinking process including Immersion, Observation and Conversation to gain insights on addressing uncertainties related to customers, altering perceptions, breaking biases and understanding 360-degree viewpoint from the perspective of emotional attachments.
This is not a talk or a lecture on product design but a hands-on experiential session where participants will go through activities to experience customer empathy. The takeaway from this session is the 360-degree viewpoint of empathy - context of the customer.
