Madhubani painting is an ancient folk art from the Mithila region...bihar state, India. It was mostly done by women in villages on walls using fingers, twigs, brushes with natural dyes and pigments. it is characterized by eye-catching the geometrical pattern. Depicts mythological people, everyday people and their association with nature, etc. but in modern times it has seen so many modifications the same themes and also now it is done on paper and canvas using different paint mediums.
