MyBoTree is excited and proud to announce "Bollywood to Bhairavi", a unique music concert in aid of Association for People with Disability (APD - www.apd-india.org). APD is an NGO that is transforming the lives of underprivileged people with disabilities since 1959.
Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, APD runs extensive programs in rural and urban Karnataka to enable, equip, and empower children and adults with a range of disabilities including locomotor, spinal cord injury, speech and hearing, cerebral palsy, as well as mental issues. To date, they have impacted the lives of over 500,000+ people with disabilities for over 60 years.
The musical evening is conceptualized and led by AnanDa, a disciple of Grammy Award winner and Padma Bhushan Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhat - the creator of Mohan Veena, a modified slide guitar.
Bollywood to Bhairavi (B2B) is a unique concept created by AnanDa is 2012 to enable audiences/students to appreciate/learn Indian Classical music through the medium they have grown up with - namely film songs.
