This is a 5 hours workshop that will introduce you to the mediums of Acrylics with brush and Acrylics with palette knife.
Workshop is structured as follows:
-Acrylic Painting (Brush) - There will be an introduction to acrylic paint and understanding how this medium behaves differently from water colour. You will use landscape or still object to paint using acrylic paint with a brush.
- Acrylic Painting (Palette Knife) - There will be an introduction to palette knives and understanding how to mix colour and apply it onto a canvas using a palette knife. By the end of the workshop, you will have the same landscape painted in two different techniques (acrylic brush and acrylic palette knife).
All material required for workshop will be provided.
Ujwala Vishwanath is a cinematographer, sketcher, painter, photographer and sculptor. She has completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University US, PG-Diploma in Multi-Media Broadcasting in Journalism from the World Media Academy & ICFJ, and Master of Fine Arts from American Film Institute Los Angeles.
Having 8 years of experience in sketching, painting, cinematography, photography and sculpting, she works with documentary filmmakers, Discovery communications, Meditech and Sudhee networks, being just a few of them. She also works as a freelance cinematographer for films as well as conducts workshops and classes for those wanting to express themselves through art.
