Puppetry is a form of theatre or performance that involves the manipulation of puppets – inanimate objects, often resembling some type of human or animal figure, that are animated or manipulated by a human called a puppeteer.
In this Session, the puppeteer enables participants to not only create, puppets but also, enact a play. The participants will get to create their own characters piece by piece and also string them into a story that they imagine.
The session will involve understanding how to use movements. Storytelling will involve the puppeteer speaking in the voice of the character of the puppet, and synchronizing the movements of the puppet with the spoken part.
