Why blindfold yoga? When you remove your most relied-upon-sense – your eyesight –there is no choice but to turn inward and get in touch with the heightening of our other senses.
This enhanced concentration brings much greater presence and mindfulness to your practice. You will get a window into your deeper, inner-most thoughts, dialogues and get a chance to learn more about yourselves.
Also, you will get physically stronger because you are more consciously using your muscles so as to not lose your balance.
It’s a fun and empowering ride recommended for curious yogis of all levels (from beginners to experts) who want to learn more about themselves in this fun, unique experience.
Meet Your Yoga Instructor-Chaitra Jayaraj Yoga has been part of her daily life since 2012. She approaches both her personal practice and her teachings with humble curiosity and thoughtful consideration.
In her teachings, she attempts to make space for all to feel safe and empowered. Influenced by the most ancient form of yoga, the hatha yoga, she leads classes with emphasis and alignment, strength and breath.
She has Yoga Teachers training from SYVASA university (one of Yoga's oldest universities). She also holds an Advanced Hatha Yoga certificate from Hatha Yoga Prachara trust, which is a leading certified authority for Hatha Yoga.
