“Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.”
Dialogues Cafe invites all the booklovers to its October 2018 edition of Dialogues with books. We host this delightful gathering every second Saturday of the month!
At "Dialogues with Books", the participants read and discuss their favourite book from the specified genre to some of fellow bibliophiles.
It is a 2 hour event where we divide time equally between the participants and we prefer each participant to contribute through reading a passage from their favorite book. We also allow freeflowing discussions which is moderated by our host. Those who do not wish to read can also attend the event and participate in the discussions.
The theme of the Month is Short Stories. A short story is a piece of prose fiction that typically can be read in one sitting and focuses on a self-contained incident or series of linked incidents, with the intent of evoking a "single effect" or mood
Also, This event is not a platform for people to promote their own(or family/friends) books.
Charges for the event: INR 150 for regular customer, INR 100 for students . It includes one drink complimentary at Dialogues Cafe.
