The Zen of Painting

Come along to Cafe Somara on 29th Feb 2020 for a beautiful and enriching workshop on painting portraits with the renowned artist Murali Krishna.

The objective of the workshop is to explore how an artist's brain works, how they perceive objects and are able to recreate them. To learn to see what an artist sees. Painting is extremely therapeutic, especially painting a portrait. Learn how painting portraits heals the mind and body.

The workshop is also the entry platform to the Figurative art society which is an art community of over 400 part-time and full-time artists who have attended Murali's workshops.

You don't need any prior experience.

Participants need to be 18yrs and above

Renowned Artist Murali Krishna

Artist, design consultant and teacher, Murali Krishna is a creative & critical thinker. Murali is a self-taught artist with a unique style of painting using vibrant colors and bold strokes.
His paintings have been featured in publications, online museums, and exhibitions. Murali's design was recently on the cover of Nature Magazine(The biggest science magazine in the world) After discovering his passion for teaching his craft, Murali has conducted numerous online classes & offline workshops. Murali has been painting for the last 15 years and teaching for the last 4 years in Bangalore and other cities of India.
