Yercaud Hills Ultra (YHU) is brought to you by Salem Runners India group. Salem Runners is an informal group of regular runners of Salem City, united through the Social Media and spearheaded by seasoned long-distance runners. This is a non-profit motive Group and the group has several large events organizing experience including that of Salem Marathon, an event conducted by the Rotary Club of Salem Galaxy, for the past 5 years. The main inspiration for the group comes from Shiva, a regular Marathoner, who has participated in several international Marathons and Fido (Karthigaikumara) who is a regular marathon runner. Santy is another active Salem Runner who is also part of Marina Minnals / Chennai Trekking Club & DV Prasad is an active and a passionate veteran runner.
Does YHU registration come with a T-Shirt or is there an option to buy one?
Most of us who regularly participate in several marathons end up getting many T-Shirts. Half of them dont fit us very well and some of them carry too many brand logos which make the T-Shirts not wearable beyond the event. While some of us take the pride in wearing them during our workouts it generally ends up as one more neon T-Shirt in our wardrobes. The organizers are planning to come up with a unique way to remember this event. Please stay tuned for updates.
Where will be the start point? When does the race start & how long the course will be open?
The Ultra run will start at 5.30 am (subject to change)
