Mysore style classes are guided self-practice for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. These are not the typical 'instructor-led' classes that are regularly conducted at fitness or. In Mysore style classes multiple students with different backgrounds, proficiency levels, and needs practice their asana sequence side by side, at their own pace. Beginners to yoga, those with health issues, experienced students looking to deepen their practice, senior citizens, all practice their individual routines together. The teacher assists each student individually to guide them into their practice.
During the classes, we will work with three sequences (designed by India Yoga): beginner series, preparatory series and foundation series. Starting with the basics to build a solid foundation for one's practice to progress from there. Every class will end with pranayama and meditation.
