Ziro Valley has been in the news for a couple of years now and all for the right reasons. A favorite for being listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, lately, it has also been developing a colorful personality of its own courtesy, the Ziro Festival Of Music or in simple words, Ziro Music Festival 2019.
Located in Lower Subansiri district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh, the picturesque green valley is a perfect place for an independent artists music festival. A festival that together some of the best musical talents of India to a diverse audience hungry for some original cool music. A vibrant mixture of art, music, and culture, Ziro Festival 2019 has now become a go-to destination for the youngsters and hip enthusiasts who want to get high on music.
We plan to hike till Pange valley watch butterflies, see species of orchids, camp one night at pange and trek back.
Day 0: Arrive at Guwahati, Be there by 10 AM. Shopping and leave for Naharlagun in train
Day 1: Reach Naharlagun, Jeep ride to Ziro takes 5-6 hours. Head to our homestay, have dinner and retire for the night
Day 2: Get ready, head out towards the trek to Pange 5-6 hrs of hike and reach base
Day 3: Hike around spot birds, orchids, flora, and fauna, leave for ziro, reach homestay dinner
Day 4: Day 1 of Ziro Music festival
Day 5: Day 2 of Ziro Music festival
Day 6: Day 3 of Ziro Music festival
Day 7: Day 4 of Ziro Music festival
Day 8: Leave from Ziro and reach Naharlagun, leave for Guwahati
Day 9: Flyback
