About Night Trek :

Rajmachi Fireflies Night Trek is counted as one of the most exciting and endurance testing treks.

This route at night is quite chilly going throughout the thick forest. You can spot on the way Nightjars, Sambhars, Palm Civet, Hares, etc. it is truly exciting. You get to see streams, If you are walking near dusk or dawn time then you can see a lot of fireflies twinkling around you. Overall Rajmachi night trek experience is unique and unforgettable. When you wake up at the campsite the view is quite amazing.

About Rajmachi :

Rajmachi Fort is one of the many historical forts in the rugged hills of Sahyadri Mountains (Western Ghats). It consists of two twin fortresses Shriwardhan Ballekilla and Manaranjan Balekilla, with a wide machi (plateau) surrounding the two Balekillas. Udhewadi is a small village of about 22 houses situated on the machi, at the southern foot of

Manaranjan Balekilla of Rajmachi Fort.

About Fireflies :

Initial Monsoon climate is the ideal period for fireflies and glow-worms for mating and in pursuit of the mate, hundreds of fireflies gather together on a tree displaying their bio-luminescent lights in the dark nights. Dense forests are just the perfect place for these twinkling creatures for this kind of ritual and this is the exact time when we can experience synchronous twinkling of hundreds of fireflies one of the most beautiful phenomena in nature. Experience doesn't need any explanation its phenomenon and visuals leave you with moments to cherish for a lifetime.

Reviews for Organizer 3.2
Firstly, if you are planning for the monsoon treks around the season, they are gonna be a good experience because the weather is awesome. If you are taking the help of an events organizer, you want them to add to the experience rather than making you feel annoyed even admist the pleasant surroundings. Live before you die is a poor organizer of Kalsubai trek and it is better to avoid them. Both the trek leaders Smit and Kaustubh were lacking in experience of leading a trek. I have done treks previously on my own as well as with event organisers but this one with Live before you die was one of the worst experiences I have had. Both the trek leaders had no value for time and from the start itself were not at all bothered to go as per the plan. We finally left at 7 pm against the plan of 4 pm and it would have been even more late if left up to the organziers. There was even no proper planning to have the size of the group equal to the capacity of bus and last minute adjustments were being made. The same was an issue while return as well. Both the trek leaders failed to help the group in crucial moments of ascent as well as descent during the trek and people were doing it on their own. The trek isn't hard but rain had made the tracks very slippery. I have saved the worst part for last. The trek leaders instead of letting the group sleep the night before in the bus played music throughout with singing and antakshiri which made it more of a picnic and was evident in how some of the people not being able to handle the strain tge next day because of lack of sleep. There are other pointers as well but I guess I would have made myself clear. Please go to Kalsubai trek but not with Live before you die. - by Abishake Koul for Monsoon Special Trek To Mt. Kalsubai organized by Live Before You Die .
