Gwenda Glocalista presents: Parsi Breakfast at SBOW in BKC (Expats only)
Join Gwenda Glocalista for a delicious Parsi Breakfast at Sodabottleopenerwala (SBOW) in BKC on 02 September 2017.
Never heard of Parsis? They are an Indian community that follows the religion of Zoroastrianism. Originally from Iran, Parsis came to India hundreds of years ago. Mumbai history is full of Parsi contribution and Parsi food is very popular. Unfortunately many old Parsi restaurants and cafes (mostly located in South Bombay) are closing. Sodabottleopenerwala is a modern version of the quintessential Bombay Parsi Café and bar that brings forth the dying legacy of the wonderful, bustling, colorful, quirky, cluttered, eccentric world of a Irani café.
Meet other expats over a delicious Parsi breakfast.
