2. In order to keep suspicious persons and anti-social elements at bay, Mischief Treks reserves the right to admission at campsite. Incase if a person is found to be not adhering to rules he/she will be expelled from the event without providing any refund

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - (FAQ) & Points to Note
Q1. Does the campsite have Washroom Facility?
Ans. We have washroom available at 5 min walking distance from the lake which is a source of drinking water for villagers. It is a common washroom for all participants of the camping event.
Q2. Is it safe for solo participants?
Ans. Yes, mostly 30% of participants come up solo and blend in.
Q3. Is it safe for girls?
Ans. Mischief Treks has a track record of making our trekking and camping events extremely safe for girls. Normally 60 65 % of our participants are females.
Q4. What all things are provided in the tent?
Ans. The tent contains a Styrofoam mat which is similar to a yoga mat, and a blanket for each person. We suggest you to bring (optional) a bedsheet or blanket to add on to the comfort levels.
Q5 How many people will share the tent OR can we have separate tent for ourselves ?
Ans. We have tents of 4 different size . 2/3/4/8 person capacity tents are available, you can chose from any of these as per number of persons coming along with you. Tent size is as per standard international norms for tents. The 2 person tent is dimension: 200 x 150 x 110 cm. The 3 person tent has dimensions 200 x 200 x 130 cm. The 4 person tent has dimensions 220 x 250 x 150cm. After booking the event you need to email/message us your preference of tent size atleast 3 days prior to the event date. Allotment of tent size depends on availability of tents.
Q6. Can we pay in cash or installment or on spot ?
Ans. Sorry we do not accept cash payments. For installment scheme you will have to pay one-time processing fee of Rs.500 per person. On spot payment not possible because the booking process closed prior to the event date and we have limited tickets available.
Q7. What is the last date of booking ?
Ans. Bookings close once tickets are sold out. Ideally you need to book atleast 2-3 days in advance.
Q8. Why are toilets away from the tents?
Ans. The water in lake is source of drinking water for nearby villages. As per general guidelines toilets need to be atleast 100 mtr away from all the sources which feed water to the lake during rainy season.
Q9. I have booked/paid for the event, is my booking confirmed ?
Ans. No ! , your booking can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details atleast 24 hours prior to the event. We do not allow anyone to campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of emergency, and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent along the ticket confirmation email. Q10. We are coming by our own vehicle for camping event where should we reach & how far is campsite ?
Ans. You need to reach "Baba Da Dhaba" at scheduled meeting time, the "Dhaba" is at 10 min driving distance from kasara station. This is where we will halt for lunch, from here we you can follow our vehicles. After this point cellphone network coverage is bad and our team wont be contactable. You will be given exact coordinated after you finish booking formalities. The campsite is 45 min drive from Kasara Station.
Q11. How many people will be at the camping event ?
Ans. Depends on number of people booking the event. Generally the batch size is approximately 20-30 participants. And there will be other people camping in same area too.
Q12. How should I book the event ?
Ans. All you have to do is press the book now button on this page and follow the instructions.
Q13. How do we get in touch after reaching meeting point ?
Ans. we will be creating a whatsapp group for coordination where you will be provided all the necessary information regarding contact person, exact point to meet etc..
Q14. What is provided in meals ?
Ans. Dinner will consist of veg and nonveg options. rice, chapati, daal, seasonal veg, salad, Chicken curry.
Q15. Is there network, charging point, electricity at campsite?
Ans. The campsite is a lakeside location far away from civilization, you barely get 2g network intermittently. There is no electricity in the region. Its a Tribal area.
Cancellation Policy
90% will be refunded if cancelled 15 days in advance.
75% will be refunded if cancelled 10 days in advance.
50% will be refunded if cancelled 05 days in advance.
25% will be refunded if cancelled 03 days in advance.
0% refund if cancelled within 72 hours of the event date and time
Disclaimer
Please Note : During monsoon the tents cannot hold on the winds and rain. An attempt will be made to shift you to a shelter or dormitory. If your focus is purely staying in tents then avoid booking this event from June to August. We may have to shift tents to shelter or shift all participants to a village home.

It is most essential to be fit and fine before heading for an event. While planning your trip, it is preferable to have a medical fitness check up done. If suffering from any kind of allergy or ailment, do carry proper prescribed medicines to prevent serious health problem including heatstroke, severe headache, cough, dehydration and hypothermia. Participants suffering from chronic conditions like asthma, bronchitis, blood pressure, migraine, diabetes etc should seek their physicians advice before coming. Participants should not deface or damage any monument by writing or scribbling on them. Please help us to conserve and preserve our heritage . The participants who wish to reach the event starting point in their own vehicle have to reach the meeting point at given time, beyond the said time and spot the organizer may go out of network range and wont be able to assist. In such situation the organizer shall not be liable for any inconvenience what-so-ever and the participants will be considered as dropouts against which no refund will be made. The organizer reserves the right to make necessary change in itinerary at any time before or during the event based on situation at hand. Trek leaders decision will be final and binding, no arguments will be entertained. During the event if any participant or group does not follow safety instructions and indulges in acts that lead to physical harm, or gets lost in the forest / mountain the organizers will not be held liable for it. No refund will be made in case a person misses the train/bus mentioned in the itinerary. All participants are deemed to be physically fit for the event. In case a participant decides to dropout during the event he/she has to bear the extra cost of arranging his/her return, this cost will be charged at-actual-basis. If the event gets cancelled before commencement due to natural calamities, rains, landslide, snowfall, avalanche or any external influencers, only 50% refund will be made. Once the event has started and if it get cancelled due to bad natural conditions during the course of event no refund will be made. Stay options mentioned in the itinerary are subject to natural conditions i.e. tents cant be pitched if rains and/or rain storm is being predicted. In such cases an attempt will be made to provide shelter for the night. Food during the trekking and camping events is sourced locally from villages and we put in our best efforts to provide the best, participants should acknowledge the fact that remote village people are not trained for catering services and the expectations should be accommodating. Mischief Treks organises events at forts, lakes, villages, hills and mountains that are accessable to other organisers too. We do not own any of the locations mentioned. We do not have access to client booking database of other organisers and we cannot comment of number of people visiting the location on a given date. MischiefTreks has a reputation of providing memorable experience for trekkers and adventure lovers, our events are not designed for tourists or fussy people. Trekking and Camping belong to adventure sports industry where the participants are part of a "team" here there are no waiters, caterers, guests, clients. Having the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork is basic requirement for signing up our events.
