You all would have seen videos of this visually striking art doing rounds on the Internet. It is so addictive that we have decided to give you 2 triangular 12" canvases to experiment on. We will be exploring 2 important Fluid painting methods, the swirl technique and the dirty pour. We will also teach how to create organic cells on the canvas.

Also known as paint pouring, flow art, liquid art, etc. Is a form of abstract art that uses acrylic paints with a fluid consistency. This type of art is fun for all ages. Fluid acrylics can be used in many different forms such as pouring, dripping, swirling, glazing, dipping and many other effects. The acrylic paints react with each other when combined together to make interesting and visually organic motifs. Fluid art opens up a lot of possibilities and is definitely worth exploring and adding to your artist tool belt.

It is also a great way to get marbleized effects, rich colored glazes and add some fun to your painting process. It gives a soothing effect to your mind, calms the brain and the best thing to do if you love to play with colors. Let's come together and have some fun pouring colors on stretched canvas!

Reviews for Organizer 4.2
I had booked this workshop for my girlfriend to spend a nice afternoon painting together and I must say it was worth it. Initially I was quite sceptical given some of the reviews. It was hosted by Anushka, a very warm person who is ready to help. Following points to consider :1) This workshop is for complete beginners like me. Its wonderful for those who wanna understand what knife painting is. You will not be guided on specific strokes and techniques. Very basic techniques are covered which are sufficient for the painting. Remember, its not a master class. 2) Even though, people away from the host could not sometimes hear what she is saying, the host made it a point to attend each and every one of them and answer their queries. The host was also kind enough to allow a late entry which I can understand how difficult it is to accommodate in a group session. 3) This workshop will allow you to understand the basic structure of a painting and how to approach it step by step. It is up to you how much you learn from it. Go with a open mind, not to achieve perfection. Its ok to make mistakes, its ok if the strokes or colours are not exactly as the painting you will be referring to. Its art, let yourself flow, you will only end up making beautiful mistakes. Above all, it was a wonderful experience. Anyone who wishes to start painting, this workshop is highly recommended. - by Pritesh Visave for Palette Knife Painting Workshop by Bombay Drawing Room, Worli organized by Bombay Drawing Room .
