Magic and fun await you at our favorite trekking destination. An amazing sunrise, the magnificent Hemadpanthi architecture, legendary Kedareshwar Shivalingam, climb to the 3rd highest peak of Maharashtra- Taramati and the mesmerizing view of clouds accumulating in the valley below Konkankada.

Join us for a night trek to Harishchandragad (HCG) and witness it yourself. We reach the top of HCG via Pachnai way before sunrise and spend the day at leisure, exploring the once fortified hill.

DAY 01: Saturday

You have to board CST-Kasara fast local from your nearest local train station 
Train time : CST-06.25pm, Dadar-06.40pm, Kurla-06.47pm, Ghatkopar-06.51pm, Thane-07.06pm

Reach Kasara by 08.40pm 

Meet us at the ticket Window of Platform No 4 at Kasara station from there we will take the jeeps and head to Dhaba where participants can have Dinner on A-La-Cart basis. 

10.30 PM: Head out from Dhaba and proceed towards the Base village. 

Reach Pachnai by 12.30 PM.

Its time for Antakshari , Group games etc

Spend the night in base village home, living the life of a true-trekker.


DAY 02: Sunday

Have Breakfast and Start trekking early morning at 06.00am , its 3 hour trek, we get to take a dip in rain water pool. 

Reach top and explore Kedareshwar Temple, Sixth Century Caves, Konkan Kada and its time to get your cameras on shooting spree.

Rest for a while and start descending.

Reach base village by 02.00pm , have Lunch and commence return journey to Kasara.

Reach Kasara station by 6:00 pm.

Catch the 06:18 CST local.

Charges: Rs. 1350/- per person

You carry:

  • Torch with extra batteries (V. Imp. Please don't forget)

  • Sleeping bag OR Mats OR Bedsheets to rest upon.
  • Some ready to eat food. Plum cakes, Biscuits etc. to munch.
  • Medicines (if you need any), Toiletries, Cap / Scarves and Sunglasses
  • Glucon D / Electrol / Enerzyl Powder
  • Water (minimum 2 ltrs)
  • Shoes with good grip and an extra pair of floaters and clothes. 
  • A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, to keep hands free while trekking.

You donot carry:

  • Jholas / sling bag
  • Please avoid wearing Jewelry
  • Alcohol or any narcotic substance

Disclaimer: The participants who wish to reach the event starting point in their own vehicle have to reach the meeting point at a given time, post that organizers may go out of network range and won't be able to assist. In such a situation, the organizer shall not be liable for any inconvenience what-so-ever and the participants will be considered as dropouts against which no refund will be made. The organizer reserves the right to make the necessary change in itinerary at any time before or during the event based on situation at hand. Trek leaders decision will be final and binding, no arguments will be entertained. During the event, if any participant or group does not follow safety instructions and indulges in acts that lead to physical harm, or gets lost in the forest/mountain the organizers will not be held liable for it. Tickets can be canceled 7 days prior to the event and 90% amount will be refunded. No refund will be made in case a person misses the train/bus mentioned in the itinerary. All participants are deemed to be physically fit for the event. In case a participant decides to drop out during the event he/she has to bear the extra cost of arranging his/her return. This cost will be charged at-actual-basis. If the event gets canceled due to natural calamities, rains, landslide, snowfall, avalanche only 50% refund will be made. Stay options mentioned in the itinerary are subject to natural conditions i.e tents cant be pitched if rains and/or rain storm is being predicted. In such cases, an attempt will be made to provide shelter for the night. Food during the trekking and camping events is sourced locally from villages and we put in our best efforts to provide the best, participants should acknowledge the fact that remote village people are not trained for catering services and our expectations should be accommodating. MischiefTreks has a reputation of providing a memorable experience for trekkers and adventure lovers our events are not designed for tourists or fussy people. Trekking and camping belong to Adventure Sports industry where the participants are part of a "team", there are no waiters, caterers, guests/clients.

FAQ and Points To Note

Q: I have booked/paid for the event, is my booking confirmed ?

Ans. No ! , your booking can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details atleast 24 hours prior to the event. We do not allow anyone to campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of emergency, and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent along the ticket confirmation email. Submitting incomplete/incorrect/fake details in the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided in such case.

Q. We are coming by our own vehicle for the event, where should we reach ?

Ans. You need to reach "Dhaba" at scheduled meeting time, the "Dhaba" is at 40 min driving distance from kasara station. This is where we will halt for lunch, from here we you can follow our vehicles. After this point cellphone network coverage is bad and our team wont be contactable. You will be given exact coordinated after you finish booking formalities.

Q. How many people will be at the coming for this trek ?

Ans. Depends on number of people booking the event. Generally the batch size is approximately 25 participants.

Q. Is it safe for solo participants?

Ans. Yes, mostly 30% of participants come up solo and blend in.

Q. Is it safe for girls?

Ans. Mischief Treks has a track record of making our trekking and camping events extremely safe for girls. Normally 60 75 % of our participants are females.

Q.How long is the trek ?

Ans. Normally it takes three hours to ascend and two hours to descend.

Q. Why is submitting emergency contact details and KYC information mandatory?

Ans. Its a standard protocol and also a guideline by Govt of India. We are accountable for every "Human-Body" present at our campsite or trek is our responsibility and in case of any unfortunate event we will be asked by        authorities to provide all relevant information about you. In order to comply with the authorities we have to take authentic information from you. Fake/Incomplete information or non-submission of the details will make your ticket (paid amount) invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. You will not be allowed to participate in the event. 

Q. Can we pay in cash or installment ?

Ans. Sorry we do not accept cash payments. For installment scheme you will have to pay one-time processing fee of Rs.500 per person. 

Q. What is the last date of booking ?

Ans. Bookings close once tickets are sold out. Ideally you need to book atleast 2-3 days in advance. 

Q. How many people will be at the trekking event ?

Ans. Depends on number of people booking the event. Generally the batch size is approximately 20-25 Mischief Treks participants. The trek location will contain participants from couple of other organizers too. 

Q. How should I book the event ?

Ans. All you have to do is press the book now button on this page and follow the instructions.

Q. How do we get in touch after reaching meeting point ? 

Ans. We will be creating a whatsapp group one night prior to the event for coordination where you will be provided all the necessary information regarding contact person, exact point to meet etc..
