The play is an experimental piece of theatre, paying a unique tribute to theatre. Timed at 1 hour and 15 minutes, it is a combination of multiple sketches showcasing various genres and the works of many esteemed writers. The aim behind the script is to show the reality of the Delhi Theatre Circuit, especially everything that goes on behind the scenes. Whilst attempting this play, we want to bring on stage a new type of performance, a piece that challenges the audience to step out of their comfort zone and witness something totally fresh. As the title of the play suggests, the entirety of the show is based around taking an existing script or concept and giving it a twist. The play also boasts Antonin Artaud’s Theatre of Cruelty as the foundation in creation of the concept. Overall, it is about bringing something completely new to the stage.
