All of us doodle! We doodle faces on the backs of our notebooks, we scribble shapes in meetings, we doodle absent-mindedly when we think. And, of course, all of us have practiced our signatures a thousand times in all the different ways we can imagine, trying to make them more eye-catching - and that's typography.
Typography is a technical and fundamental part of design work, but at its heart, it is the simple art of stylizing letters, numbers, and words to convey far more than simple text.
Toodlegraphy will combine the two arts - Doodling and Typography. In this workshop, you will be shown a number of different ways to combine your doodles with typography. We'll help stimulate your creative side with fun games and new ideas. And at the end, you will have your own piece of artwork to prove that you've taken your scribbles to a whole new level!
Requirements: You and your hungry, enthusiastic soul. Materials will be provided at the venue itself.
