In this guided workshop, get acquainted with different stages of pottery, right from understanding different types of raw clay to hand building techniques such as wedging, pinching, coiling and slab work and apply them to make your own finished piece. By the end of the workshop, you would create two pieces of clay and you will be surprising happy to see your finished work,
The workshop is paced to give each individual personal attention.

About the host:
Songs of Summer is a unique pottery studio started by Puja for her love of handmade ceramic. The workshop hosted by Puja are detailed, super fun and easy to grasp and suitable for beginners.
This course is designed for beginners looking for an introduction to working with clay.
1. Wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting messy in. You are going to be sitting on a stool and playing with clay.
2. Avoid longer fingernails.
- All the necessary materials for pottery
- Guidance, advice and explanations along the way
- Make your own pot which you'll be able to collect after the class
