Pythagoras: Wizard of numbers and the secrets of nature
There is geometry in the humming of the strings, there is music in the spacing of the spheres.
This talk shall be a journey together to meet the ancient Philosopher Pythagoras - starting with a look at his life, and seeking to come close to this exceptional individual. We shall learn of some of his teachings and ideas, such as Mathematics as a lens that reveals the Universe and strings Harmony into music.
In the sea of subjectivity, we will learn of tools that reveal objectivity. We will then step back into the present, to unravel from the ancient mysteries, a way to translate this wisdom for meaningful living in our modern times.
