One among the shortlisted books for the category of fiction is The Ministry of Happiness by renowned author Arundhati Roy.

The Ministry of Utmost Happiness is an aching love story and a decisive remonstration. The book takes us on a journey of many years with two main strands. One follows Anjum, a transwoman, struggling to make a life for herself in Delhi. The other follows Tilo, a thorny and irresistible architect turned activist, and the three men who fall in love with her.

This ravishing, magnificent book reinvents what a novel can do and can be, all the while demonstrating on every page the miracle of Arundhati Roys storytelling gifts.

Join us on the 28th and 29th of October at Lalit Ashok to not only witness the literary zeal of Bangalore but also which book has won the hearts of readers alike. Various notable titles such as this in a multitude of genres will be available for a guaranteed good read. Come by and grab your copy!
