During this workshop, poet Hemant Deolekar will discuss the creative process in detail, which will set aspiring poets on the path for developing greater sensitivity and imagination. Through a guided writing exercise, the participants will also develop a newer perspective of seeing the world around them more poetically.

About Hemant Deolekar:
A theatre artist and poet, Hemant's career spans over two decades; during which he has worked under Ujjain's Shipra Sanskriti Sansthan and renowned theatre director Alakhnandan. Since 2011, he has acted, written songs, and composed music for Vihaan Drama Works, frequently collaborating with director Sourabh Anant. He has written and translated many plays for children. He two collections of poems published, titled Hamari Umr Ka Kapas Dhire Dhire Lohe Mein Badal Raha Hai (2012) and Gul Makai (2017). Besides a poem included in the NCERT Hindi syllabus, he has received numerous awards for poetry and theater, including the Premchand Smriti Samman (2018) and Rang Gaurav Samman (2019).
