'So beguiling, you resist blinking in case you miss a moment! The Herald Stunning combination of emotional and physical articulation!' - The Miami Herald.

Bhoomija's Jackfruit '17 - Mornings are delightful of late! Umayalpuram Sir calls from Chennai to report on the previous day's rehearsals of the percussion ensemble: on how the youngsters are rocking it and how his Glass Mridangam is all tuned and ready. At home, Sriranjani Santhanagopalan makes a rare appearance from her room to drop a nugget or two - on how beautiful the narrative written by Sharanya Ramprakash is and how the kids are lapping it up, or with a question like, "did you know that this choir is the youngest amongst the three you have done"?!

Between the two shows, there are close to 30 children who are all set to knock our socks off. Jun 3 - Percussion Ensemble directed and led by Umayalpuram Sivaraman and Jun 4 Children's Carnatic Choir directed by Sriranjani Santhanagopalan. Bhoomija's Jackfruit - reports from the rehearsal rooms in Chennai (Dr Umayalpuram Sivaraman directing and leading a young musician group from across the Southern states in an electrifying percussion ensemble) and Bangalore (Sriranjani Santhanagopalan directing the Children's Carnatic Choir with Sharanya Ramprakash as the Creative Director) are very heartwarming! There seems to be a lot of fun and hard work going on!

Hi, if you have an age limit for your shows you need to have it up front and center and NOT IN THE Ts&Cs. An age limit of 8 years is arbitrary. Super disappointed.
